A slow meander around both sites, which lasted nearly 4 hours, produced the following list:

Species seen and/or heard, in no particular order,

Wren, Dunnock, House Sparrow, Robin, Starling, Blackbird, Song Thrush, Mistle Thrush, Magpie, Jackdaw, Rook, Carrion Crow, Jay, Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Linnet, Bullfinch, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Coal Tit, Long-tailed Tit, Swallow, House Martins, Woodpigeon, Collared Dove, singing Stock Dove, Pheasant, Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, several Great-Spotted Woodpeckers, Nuthatch and several Treecreepers. Plenty of Warblers heard including Willow, Chiffchaff and Blackcaps. Also 2 Grey Wagtails showing well at Thunderbridge.

A respectable 37 species were recorded.
