A large group, 24, duly turned out to see and learn more about the grounds around Shelley College, now re-named the ‘Eco Park’.
The event had been advertised on the Huddersfield Birdwatchers’ Club Forum which lead to 8 members of the group joining the walk.
The morning stayed dry but cloudy mainly, with a cool wind just taking the edge of the temperature.
