Thursday Club
The Thursday Club is a group of ladies who formed their own organisation when they decided to discontinue their membership of the Townswomen’s Guild.
At present the club has a membership of 16 and meets the second Thursday of every month (except August), mainly the venue is the Village Hall.
Meetings commence at 7.45 pm, when there is a guest speaker, but the club also organises a theatre trip, this year in May, and evening meals out in July and December.
The club would welcome new members.

The annual subscription is £7 and tea and biscuits are provided at the meetings
at a cost of 25p.
If however, anyone would like to hear one particular speaker and just attend that meeting the charge would be £1 (including tea and biscuits).
