The award ceremony took place at the Village Hall and it was lovely to be able to celebrate with so many other people from the village - the representative from Calor said that in fifteen years there had never been such a well supported ceremony.
Thank you to those who came - you blew the judges away!
Speeches of congratulations were made by the members of Yorkshire Rural Community Council and Mr Rob Benson, Sales Manager from Calor, and awards were made to the losing finalists before Shelley received its awards.
These were a metal plaque set in oak, a certificate, a cheque for £150 and a special Information Communication Technology award.
