Unfortunately the final fields back to Cumberworth Lane had had a recent visit from the muck spreader, but we were not deterred and carried on regardless.
Beryl Lockwood stepped into the breach to lead the walk as my better half had had a nasty fall the day before, and I brought up the rear.
