It was then the turn of the Club President. Bob Haigh, to deliver a poem about all our players. Then after rubbing his eyes after working halfway through the night working out the averages and finishing the club’s annual brochure he helped Dave Jones with the presentation of the prizes.
The winners were as follows:
First team balling and player of the year, Peter Drysdale.
First team bowling; Scott Dyson.
Second team batting prize; Joe Sykes.
Second team bowling prize winner and player of the year; Jim, Nightingale.
The, club catching prize was won by Greg Wadsworth and Daniel Hill picked up the award for the most sixes.
It was then the turn of the younger section of the audience to enjoy the music provided by the engaged band.
