Some of the sceptics feared that a disaster would occur at the hastily arranged Presentation Dinner, how wrong could they be?
Almost all the first and second team players and their partners were present at the Village Hall on Sunday 11th September.
The venue provided the ideal setting for the event.
The outside caterers did, a splendid job in producing a well presented three course meal with plenty of choices for each course. Everything was served nice and. hot and finished off with a choice of tea or coffee.
Jim Hall started the knives and forks clicking by rendering Grace.
After everyone had accepted, or refused second helpings, our Director of Cricket, Paul Scott, took over the role, of Master of Ceremonies and thanked everyone for their attendance and for their efforts during the season.
