End of Season Review 2009
The season finished on a high with a six point victory over Almondbury to clinch third place in the table.

Abid Hussein returned his best bowling figure of the season taking 5 for 26, aided and abetted by Akhlaq Abmed who took 3 for 23 to dismiss the visitors for 129 and that was boosted by a last wicket stand of 33.

Ahmed made 29 but the highlight was a brilliant batting display by Chris Schofield and Bradley Parker, something we had craved all season and at last it was delivered in the very last match.

The pair took us to victory at 133 for 2 in the 25th over with Schofield, who was later named as ‘Player of the Season’ unbeaten with 49 and Parker carrying his bat for 47.
