Upon writing this we have seven games to go and we feel our memories of the season will be defined by the team performances in these remaining fixtures.
We know the team is capable but our survival will depend largely on attitude guts and teamwork as opposed to individual performances.
We arrived to a cool night and a grand welcome.
Three of Shelley CC’s best party rockers assembled at our new local, The Farmers Boy, to treat us to a night of party rocking and other assorted good times.
Turning up for our first game with the effects of a long journey not weighing too heavi1y on our shoulders, Dan started off with the new cherry finding out quickly that Kirkburton have one of the better opening combinations in the league.
We were initially impressed by the standard of their top order which included one Matthew Wood - whose life story we had heard before we even turned up that day.
