For the 2007 season the old clubhouse was converted to changing rooms and a new larger clubhouse and bar erected together with a new tea-room (see Below).
Sadly 2008 proved a disappointment with both teams being relegated from the Drakes Premiership and the 1st XI will start 2010 in the Frank Platt Championship1 with the 2nd XI in the Cedar Court Conference 2.
To celebrate over a hundred years of Shelley cricket a booklet about Shelley Cricket Club, its past history and achievements was published. Written by Bob Haigh ‘Century Plus’ is a fascinating record of Shelley Cricket Club.
