Once upon a time .............
Stories play a significant role in our lives, from the characters of nursery rhymes and the plots of fairy tales enjoyed in our infancy to the more sophisticated, complex novels and films of adulthood.
Why, then, are they so important?
Why do we derive so much from telling and listening to stories, whether they are to be found in books in our home, provided as illustrations in the course of church services or part of our reading of the Bible?
