Shelley’s Past Through Pictures Exhibition
The pause button of the video recorder was in danger of wearing out, as one well known villager repeatedly insisted that everyone watch her five seconds of glory as a 5 year old on a Coronation float.

Through pictures we relived the excitement and glamour of amateur operatic productions and cricket and football finals.

When Malcolm MacDonald first began receiving photographs it had seemed that cameras were only brought out at galas and heavy snowfalls, but later pictures revealed that Shelley had pioneered handbell ringing, school board education and corset making. Shelley has a lot to be proud of.

The following pages contain some of the photos shown at the exhibition.
