From its opening in 1785 until 1977, when the Church Council took over, the Chapel was administered by six successive sets of trustees.
A new Trust Deed was required each generation or so, as ill health, death and removals, reduced the effective number of trustees.
Trust Deeds were drawn up in:-
1785 - The original deed.
1826 - Following the move to New Connexion.
1856
1889
1934 - Transfer to Methodist Model Deed (see below)
1969 - The last trust and the first to include lady trustees.
