The second event sponsored by the same company on Sunday, August 5, will provide a spectacle never before seen in Shelley Cricket field.

Details are still to be finalised but four teams, all dressed in traditional coloured cricket clothing, will be taking part in a knockout Twenty20 competition.

Guest international players are expected to be in the ranks.

There will be black sightscreens, white balls and coloured stumps that would make the likes of Frank Wadsworth and Harry Metcalfe turn in their graves.

Three games for the price of one is terrific value but all in all it is planned to be a fun day for all the family with bouncing castles and other activities for the youngsters.

Shelley Cricket Club is indeed going forward and there is big welcome to new secretary, Roger Matthews and new treasurer, Fiona Tattersall and our new recruits to the committee.
