Simon Peacock was confirmed as captain of the first team for the forthcoming season and will have at his disposal all the players who brought credit to the club last season including Graeme Hurlbatt who has stood down as captain.

The Balance Sheet showed a loss of £2,422 due almost entirely to the cost of planning permission for the new facilities.

It is expected that all the club’s assets will be needed to fund the new venture and the club would like to thank all those who have made contributions towards the project and hope that others will come forward to help the cause.

The club continues to be indebted to Craig Leslie of Galpharm Pharmaceuticals for his continued support.

There was special praise for our two friendly Councillors, Margaret Brooke and Christine Smith, who have worked tremendously hard to help the club get new funding for the new facilities that are now almost up and running.
