First of all I would like to congratulate Graham and his men for finishing as Byrom Shield runners up and winning the Examiner Eights Trophy.
Most of you, you will think this a remarkable achievement and most, if asked, would have said just staying up was a job well done.
It has come as no surprise to me where we have finished given the array of talent in the team and in some ways we were unlucky not to win the title given we never played Honley and were hampered late in the season by the rain.
Some of you will have noticed the tremendous number of runs scored at Shelley this season. This is thanks mainly to Lindsay preparing ever improving wickets.
Plans are afoot to purchase wheel on and off covers for next season.
