The Seconds, with a weakened team, put on a great performance but were beaten by 27 runs at Slaithwaite.
The youngsters acquitted themselves well with Allan Greenwood taking 3 for 51 and then going on to make 50 not out but we failed to reach the target 215.
There were also excellent bowling performances from Scott Turner and Gino Dignan.
Chris Dimbylow made 52 but we failed to accelerate early enough as captain Gary Eastwood dropped himself down the order to give the youngsters a chance.
