If everything looked healthy on the playing and administration front, the balance sheet presented by treasurer, Emma Dimbylow, looked very encouraging.

For the second successive year the club showed a profit. This time it was £2,086 compared with £1,325 the previous year. This was despite a massive increase in expenditure. Happily grants had been obtained thanks to the help of Councillors Smith and Brooke to cover the two main items, the artificial wicket and a new roller.

Special praise went out to the club’s main sponsor, Greensleeves Garden Centre as well as the matchball sponsors and for the help received from Galpharm Pharmaceuticals.

Secretary Gary Eastwood conducted the meeting well and in his report said he expected the club to continue on its successful way particularly with the return to the Premiership that generates more gate money and bar revenue. He outlined the plans for the new club room that was hoped would be built in the next twelve months if grants were forthcoming.
