It is always a good sign at any AGM when the business is conducted quickly. This one held at Shelley Sports and Social Club on February 22nd was all done and dusted in extra quick time.
All the officials were re-elected, as were all members of the committee without one voice in dissent. The same applied to the two captains, Graeme Hurlbatt for the first eleven and Dave Greaves for the second, who were unsurprisingly unanimously re-elected.
With the amount of new signings there is a fear that the club might have a surfeit of players for their two teams.
On the junior front Martin Parker had volunteered to coach the newly formed under nine team with Simon Barraclough, Dave Jones and Danny Greenwood continuing to look after the under 11s, under 13s and under 15s.
