Allan lives just a six hit away from the cricket field that is his second home. He is the third generation of the Greenwood family to regularly grace Westerley Lane at second team games. Dad is in the team and his grandparents never miss a game.
He lives for sport and at one time played junior football for Chesterfield. Last year he had a successful season playing for the YMCA in the under-15 league. He is a regular member of our under-15 team and scores runs freely and picks up plenty of wickets.
He is pictured here doffing his cap after producing the best Shelley performance of the season when he took 7 for 45 against Meltham Seconds, illustrating his accuracy by hitting the stumps five times.
Allan celebrated his 15th birthday during the season attends Shelley College and this level headed youngster has a great sporting career in front of him.
