Every cloud has a silver lining and the injuries suffered at the end of our side’s successful Conference campaign lured Peter out of retirement and he has been a vital cog in our team ever since.
Peter is a native of Denby and he has helped his village team to both Allsop Cup and championship successes. He has also played in both the Sykes Cup and Heavy Woollen Cup finals in a colourful career that has seen him play at Kirkheaton, Holmfirth, Drighlington and Thornhill.
He has scored loads of runs and excelled with the ball when he took 5 for l5 from l5 overs for Drighlington in the Bradford League.
