Tom has been a welcome new arrival at Shelley and he made everyone sit up and take notice when he grabbed three quick wickets in the club’s opening match in the Premiership, hitting the stumps twice in the process.

He went on to finish with 3 for 15 from eight overs and has gone on to be a regular wicket taker.

He doesn’t appear to have the build for a fast bowler but opponents will vouch for the pace that he generates.

He is also a hard hitting batsman and made a half century for the second team when he missed the ‘bus’ to the first team game.

He hasn’t had the best of luck, missing a couple of games through illness, and then breaking a finger in the game at Golcar.
