Lindsay is one of the latest in a long list of cricketers and workers for the club from the Burgin family.
He set up one record that despite several internationals playing for the club still stands and that is taking 100 wickets in a season with his pacy bowling.
Regrettably back trouble and his advancing 38 years prevent him from turning his arm although he still plays the occasional game when circumstances dictates.
He virtually lives in the cricket field steering the roller or grass cutter as he carries out his groundsman’s duties to make the ground one to behold.
