Our South African oversees player must have the middle name of Enthusiasm for he never gives less then 100% effort.

The youngster who is employed by Galpharm has celebrated his 21st birthday whilst at Shelley when as he put it he ‘got horribly drunk’.

His best bowling performance was his seven wickets against kingpins, Micklehurst. He has always chipped in with vital runs when the side has been in trouble. He is one of the most energetic players to play for the club and has also boosted the bar takings. He loves Shelley and believes the team spirit is the best he has ever seen.

He is returning home to live with his parents and two younger brothers to play cricket in what he describes as Minor County level.
Darryn Mortimer
Everyone hopes he will return to Shelley next year.
