Despite all the publicity and leafleting, only 10 people turned up for the AGM held at Shelley Methodists on 28th October 2009, our 10th Anniversary.
People are often warned not to attend AGM’s as they could finish up getting a job.
They need not have worried since all the committee members were returned again, so we must be doing some things right!
That said, in the open discussion that followed, the policies of the ‘old guard’ were challenged.
It was good to have new blood on board and as a result, the management of the Bridle is to be changed, but we shall all be working together to improve the bio-diversity of the area.
