As in previous years, I am leading a Birdsong walk on The Whins and Bridle on the above data.

We have experienced a variety of weather on previous walks but have managed to see and hear a good variety of species.

Apart from the bird life there will possibly be a number of spring butterflies on the wing if the weather is suitable.

If you are interested in learning more about the wildlife on these two sites please meet at the entrance to the Whins on Far Bank at 9.30am.

Wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear, binoculars would be useful if you have a pair too.

I will attend whatever the weather conditions.
