The school has extensive grounds of 35 acres and since the formation of SHEP (Shelley Habitat School Enviroment Project) in 1994 many enviromental improvements have been made to the school grounds.

It is hoped the group will be able to offer more time and resources to the school over the coming years.

To this end, a wildlife walk was held at the school this May and a number of members of the public enjoyed the grounds and learned more about plans for the site over the coming years.
